ArcView ProjectArcView Project

This Open-File Report contains an ArcView 3.2 Project with the Duwamish, Puyallup, and Nisqually delta multibeam bathymetry data.

Note: The user must have ArcView installed on their computer. ArcView is a GIS software package developed by ESRI.

Instructions:

  1. Download the avproj.tgz file(30Mb) at the root directory of this Open-File Report to the desktop.
  2. avproj.tgz is a bundled and compressed folder containing all the files needed for the ArcView project. Avproj.tgz needs to be uncompressed and unbundled using WinZip or a similar program before opening the project in ArcView.
  3. Double click on the puget.apr file within the avproj folder to start the ArcView project, or open the project within ArcView.

Each delta is shown in a different view. Each view contains;

  1. Multibeam bathymetry
  2. Shaded-relief of multibeam bathymetry
  3. USGS 10-m DEM
  4. Shaded-relief of USGS 10-m DEM
  5. 10-m interval isobaths from the multibeam bathymetry
